Cheat is included that permits Creators to export creatures in Collada format for use in Maya.Creator Lineage appears correctly for all creation types shared after this patch is installed.Many tuning improvements to Space Game, including reduced disaster rates at all levels of difficulty, adjustments to Hard Mode, increased limits on concurrent trade routes, as well as changes to tool unlocks for the Knights.This patch fixes several crashes in Space Game.Asymmetry is now available for creatures! Details on new Asymmetry features for Creatures and Vehicles can be found here.Fixes a crash in the Building Creator when holding Ctrl or Shift and moving a part.Object orientation near water or lava can appear incorrectly when Playing or Testing an Adventure.Mac players who experience a crash on startup may need to manually install this patch by following the steps here.
This patch is available for both PC and Mac. If you didn't install the EADM when you installed Spore, you can download it here. PC players will need to have EADM installed. Player Captains are introduced with a tutorial Becoming a Space Captain mission.Ĭaptains created in the Captain Outfitter and not player captains will have all equipment unlocked.To get the patch, simply launch Spore. Some archetypes, such as the Wanderer and the Knight do not possess their own equipment available but still have unique titles.
Once all an archetype's equipment has been unlocked (e.g Shaman tools), the player's empire gains access to its unique ability, such as Gravitation Wave. With each level comes a new title unique to the empire's archetype, as well as the option to unlock equipment. Depending on an adventure's difficulty, points can be earned by playing adventures and used to level up the captain. What differs from the Space Outfitter is the ability to add new accessories from the "Captain" tab such as weapons and armor: archetypes have unique sets of weaponry, armor, and equipment available for use in the outfitter.Ĭaptains are also the player's avatar in the Space Stage and are usable in adventures encountered whilst playing. The Captain is a type of creature introduced in the Spore Galactic Adventures expansion pack outfitted from normal creatures using the Captain Outfitter.
